George Swift
General George Swift is a lifelong military man. He is a fiery character who believes there is only one way…his way. A decorated American hero, the general has been in a position of power for over twenty years. He has numerous combat victories and is one of the best tacticians in the American Army. His greatest strength is also his greatest weakness.
General Swift is middle-aged with short gray hair, and hard lines on his face. His signature cigar stub can always be found protruding from the corner of his mouth. He proudly dresses in Army green with five silver stars on his chest.
Author’s Note:
As the secondary villain in Brandon Sparks and the Hidden Sun, General Swift is one of the more interesting characters. He is very characterized by his stubbornness, and at times feels like a generic rehashing of the evil military characters I have seen in several movies and on TV. As the story continues you will see his character evolve and his true intentions become apparent. He plays a major role in the third book in the series.
I wanted a name that was short and easy. Swift was the first word to pop into my head and it stuck.
Charlie’s Note:
Some people never change. They think they are right no matter what. You could hold up a picture of the sun and they would say it was the moon. There’s nothing you can do with these people. You just have to hope they’re not violent. Unfortunately, General Swift was.
